Casa Bonita trip!!!
Finally! A trip to Casa Bonita!! (and maybe my last… ha) I rarely am a passenger on a car ride, so I took advantage of the fact that Odessa was driving to snap some photos along the way…

We were meeting some of Odessa’s friends, and we ended up getting there much earlier. To kill some time, we went to the ARC to check out some sweet records…
And then… finally!! Casa Bonita:
And that was that. I think we all felt super gross after the nasty margs and gross food. ha. And then some random things on the way out…
Crazy Christmas Decorations and Thizz Faces
On the way to Fuzz and Leslie’s, Jack and I discovered this extremely festive home. All of these photos are of this yard. What the photos don’t tell you is that multiple yard decorations played creepy Christmas music, moved around or blinked…
We got to Fuzz and Leslie’s eventually…
Then we watched an awesome documentary “Ghostride the Whip”… so good. We were inspired to put together a collage of our “thizz faces” after watching as a tribute to Mac Dre:
Ha. So rad!
Cell phone dump – Ashlyn’s birthday, Black Dots show, the movies and much more
Photos ranging starting around mid-September…
Starting with Ashlyn’s birthday. Woo. I met up with everyone at place with dollar tacos that night.
We were sitting outside which became rough when it started to rain. There was time to kill before Voodoo comedy so the party moved to Ashlyn’s place.

Voodoo Comedy was our next mission, but without any of us realizing until the show started that we there on a burlesque night. Oops. There was much confusion on whether it was comedy… whether we should be laughing… and just what was going on.
Chip got back to town super late that night and we got some breakfast the next morning at the Village.
Glad to have you back in Colorado, bro.
Went to see a Black Dots show at the Hi Hat a few nights before Fuzz and Leslie’s wedding…
The night before Fuzz and Leslie’s wedding, I got my hair flat ironed (always fun) and met Brian and Denise for a bit of trivia at Ralphies. This is my “messy self portrait” I took…
Ha!
Then I headed back to Boulder and met up with Chip and crew for a bit.
Saw so many people at the Pub that were all visiting Boulder for the weekend, and then snuck home early to avoid the end of the night Attic mission everyone else seemed to be on…
Next morning it was wedding time! Another self portrait on the way to pick up Jack…
Not sure why that photo had really low resolution. Ahh well.
So, I already posted my wedding pics, so next was the day after. I left my car at Glen’s house the day before, so this is on the lovely walk to go get it…
That was about it for that day if I remember correctly.
Here’s some more randomness…
And some photos from a little field trip… Fuzz took Connor, Chris and I to the movies to see a live airing of the Maloof Money Cup taking place in South Africa I believe.

There were about 8 people total in the full-sized movie theater, yet we still managed to really piss off a mom there with her two young kids. She kept shussshing us, as if talking while watching a “sporting event” isn’t the norm. So eventually she got up and told us she was going have to get someone to “deal with us”. When she marched back in proudly she just said “I told you at first nicely”. Anyways the dude working at the movie theater definitely did not care at all, but he did his duty to tell us to quiet down and so we just moved to a different section of seats. So dumb. At least I could get some decent screen shots from our new seats…
In the parking lot, we found a lovely Hello Kitty croc. We all know Fuzz loves crocs, so we left it for him on his back bumper.
Now more randomness…
A cat on a bike!
Best thing I saw on the internet today…
Saturday. Null skate session and Crisis kiddie premier
Well I’m officially only a week and half behind on my blog now – pretty amazing. All these photos are from Saturday July 28th. The day started out with an awesome breakfast with Jason (and Lindy for a bit before she had to run to work) at Walnut Cafe. It got a little rushed though when I realized it was noon and I was on a mission to catch the huck contest The Commission was hosting at the Winona ditch. Sorry Jason!
After leaving breakfast, I picked up Jack and Xander and we made moves to Westminster to the ditch. I took a few photos on my phone, which will be up here soon in another post – a cell phone photo dump type post. We only caught the tail end, so we moved on to a mini Null skate mission with Glen, Dean, Derek, Nate, Bernie, Chad, and a few other people as well. Mostly it was a manny session…

Well everyone was working on manny tricks except for Nate – who was getting worked! You got it though Nate!
I like the above photo because it kinda looks like Jack is kicking Bernie in the head.
Bernie was working hard on film duty
It started to rain a little and everyone packed up… well except for me. I decided to figure out if I could skate this thing. After some frustration, Jack came back to join me. While I managed to just make it across, Jack got nose manny nollie heel…
Yea Jack!
From there we headed to Crisis where Fuzz was about to host a kiddie premier for a local clothing company – I believe called Counteract (?) The premier was fun; there was a big turnout of little kiddies and it was cool to see so many local spots that I’ve skated in a video. After the premier, Blaine took control of my camera. So these are all his to claim…
There were quite a few of these…

Okay, so this photo might be a little creepy looking, but the cigarette looks pretty cool… I thought.
After the mass of kiddies went home, we started playing dice and daring each other to do stuff (basically copying the game we learned from the LifeBloodWizard dudes) and Fuzz ended up having to shotgun his first beer ever. Actually, a tall can. Ha!
Blaine eventually had to go home so he gave me back my camera so that I could take pictures of him posing on his scooter. Ha.
And then it was just the four of us. So time for the rest of the crew (not me cause I had to still drive home to Boulder) to shotgun more beer.
And then it was just chill time…
Jack could be a ballerina
Snowy Tuesday Adventure: photos with things (mostly)
Dominic the donkey
A few days before Christmas, Chip and I were driving home and the song below came on the radio. I had never heard it before… thought it was just some crazy Rhode Island radio station joke, but everyone I’ve mentioned it to around here seems pretty familiar. And supposedly it’s the most requested “Christmas” song on some local stations. Besides the fact it’s a “Christmas donkey”, I don’t have the faintest clue how this is a Christmas song.
Put a Bird on it.
Odessa gets credit for this one…
