Apparently, a lot of people were born on January 15th. Most relevant to me was Fuzz’s and John’s birthday. The Trick Factory headed to Denver for a show at the Three Kings Tavern to celebrate. Some photos to document the night… The People Leslie and Katie Ric the boys Leslie and Fuzz Glen Brian Leslie (Glen photo) Lazer (another Glen

Distractions

Work, work, work. First day with the 8th grade students. I worked with almost all of them last year and it was awesome that they all remembered me and seemed psyched I was back in their classroom. I seriously have the raddest job. Every other minute of this day should be taken up with my productiveness. Not the case. I’m trying.

Mid Week Distractions

It’s been a ridiculous week in terms of work. So anything at all that created a diversion was greatly appreciated. First up, Chip borrowed a pair of my “skinny jeans” for his Halloween costume. I claimed that I would cry myself to sleep that night if he was able to get them on…  … but over crying about it. It

Growing Impatient, Matt&Kim, St. Maarten 2007

No more word from Geek Squad about my camera and tonight the camera on my phone decided to stop working. Super lame. So probably no more updates on Crisis (unless Glen sends me some of his photos), but I will say that it looks amazing. And if anyone cares to see it, come! It’s open Friday. Other than that life

Just the feel of summer makes me actually want to just live life and not bother to recount the daily adventures. So just a quick summary of the past week… -Training for all the new GK-12 TEAMS fellows

(Unillustrated and sort of Concise) Weekend Adventures

Now that I’m in the last few days to accomplish a whole lot of work, I seem to have perfected my abilities to waste time. Hours and hours at a time. Gone. Glad I’m really good at something. And even though I’ve been goofing around about 90% of the time, I have still been neglecting to write about the awesome

The Ides of March…

I admit, I always forget where “beware the ides of march” came from. I think I always mix it up a bit and assume it’s part of Irish history since it’s only 2 days away from st. patty’s day. Today I actually mentioned it to my friend Jon and since he didn’t know what it meant, I looked it up…

Sick of being sick.

Its been 5 weeks now. I’ve given up the idea that I have a cold that will never go away and now think it’s got to be a sinus infection. Either that or apparently I will be congested forever more. Seriously, it’s starting to drive me out of my mind. Yesterday I tried to be proactive. Glen let me use his
