A message.

On Sunday, the last day of Thanksgiving break, Fuzz told me that Dylan, a local Broomfield ripper had passed away the day before and there would be a memorial that night. He was young – I think 15 – and it all started from simply breaking his ankle skating. Seriously, crazy. Before I headed to the Broomfield park, I checked out his facebook page in typical stalker mode. In the “write something about yourself” box, he had written a message that stopped me dead in my tracks. Not sure when he wrote it, but I’m going to guess it was there before anything happened. And here it is…

I Love living life to the fullest and in the moment! U never know when life might end! I live My life with my skateboard in my hand headphones bumping in my ears. Up Lift yo mind with that inspiration and wonders happen…

I can’t even begin to explain how much this message has meant to me. I was starting to stress about maybe having too much fun over break and not working non-stop, but this put all that to rest. Life is just too short to not live it how you want…

I didn’t know him personally, but I am so thankful for the message that he left behind. To his family and friends, I wish only the best in such a crazy time.
