Last meal with the family in town, Chip’s rowdy crawfish party

First a little breakfast. I think my parents were hoping to do a little family meal since they were headed back to RI that afternoon, but quite a few people crashed at Chip’s the night before and came out to eat with us. So it was a bit of a party.

Chip was in party mode all day. Somehow that translates into him wearing his girlfriend’s shorts to breakfast…(my poor mother!)

It wasn’t until after Jack shot a photo of this photo that I realized Chip isn’t actually the one pulling the bright blue short shorts up even higher than they already were. Strange. Very strange.

So, then an attempt to take a few family photos (with Chip hidden in the back)…

My parents and Clay only had an hour or two left in two, so we headed back to Chip’s to start the crawfish boil. I admit that I wasn’t super impressed with crawfish in general. But I did have fun and was excited to see all the people that came. For a moment the weather was on our side and the beach/yard got a little crowded… and then came freezing cold weather and on-off rain. Not the best for an out door keg and crawfish party. Either way, good times.

I put my camera down, but later Jonah picked it up to snap the last few photos of the night…
